Welcome to the Starmount High School "Cybrary" Website - your link to information 24 hours a day 7 days a week!
First let me introduce myself. I am Mrs. Suzie Thomasson, the resident Cybrarian, Media Coordinator, Teacher Librarian, and Digital Diva. Please feel free to ask for help at any time. I enjoy helping in any way that I can.
Media Center Hours:
The SHS Media Center opens at 7:45 each day. Students can come to the library with classes or individually with a pass from their teacher. With a library issued lunch pass, students can also come to the library during their lunch periods to read or work on school work. Computers can only be used for educational purposes but there are many different ways to get educated and to engage your mind using a computer. Cell phones and electronic devices cannot be used in the media center. Please do not bring food or drink in the library.
The SHS Media Center will be closed on Mondays after school for faculty meetings when announced. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday students may work on school work or read until 3:45 pm. The Media Center will close at 3 pm on Fridays.
Loan Periods:
Students can check out fiction books and regular nonfiction books for 3 weeks. Reference books may be checked out at the end of the day and must be returned before school the next day. Magazines and videos may be checked out overnight.
