All employees are required to complete annual safety, security and mental health training. Employees who start the school year in August will be notified by their immediate supervisor when these courses must be completed. Employees hired after the start of the school year will have 75 days from their hire date to complete their assigned courses. Mandatory training covers a variety of topics that differ based on whether it is an odd or even numbered year. Examples of mandatory training are: Child Abuse Identification, HIPAA Overview, Bullying Recognition, First Aid and Identifying Student Homelessness. Some mandatory training will be completed in-person such as Active Shooter and Employee Evaluation Overviews.
