These students passed the Fundamental of Marketing Concepts National Exam to receive a national recognized credential.

Mr. Hendrick ( Hendrick Motor Sports), Zeke Matthews, Keith Senter.   Zeke's team took first place in the Hendrick's Motor Sport Engine Build Competition.

FR LtoR: Austen Jones, Justice Holcomb, Wisdom Dye, Maggie Bumgarner, Caroline Wood, and Mairely Maldonado.

Starmount High School Sports Marketing II Honors class went on a field trip to Northwest Company LLC in Rhonda NC.. These students were given the opportunity to meet with the CFO of the company Robert Jolson. He talked about the licensing process. Northwest Company has licensing deals with the NFL, MLB, NBA, Disney and many more organizations. He explained the in's and out's of the licensing process and the impact of tariffs on many products that come from China.Many thanks to the Northwest Company, LLC for hosting this class and providing real world application to what they are learning in class.

HOSA takes part in Disaster training. Training is a community partnership with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and Emergency Medical Services. Jeff Hinshaw is the facilitator of the event. This year’s scenario was a multi vehicle crash caused by a tractor trailer. The training took place at the Davie Community College training grounds and Davie county EMS building in Mocksville
