Thank you to Unifi and Mr. Williams for coming to speak to Mrs. Kennedy's Advisory class!

Our 8th grade students had a chance to visit some of our local businesses this week through a career awareness initiative called "Dream It Do It." YCS collaborated with the Yadkin Chamber of Commerce to organize these business tours for our students!

Mattie Tavano is a SHS student who is completing an internship in a 5th grade class at West Yadkin Elementary School. "Ms. Mattie" did a great job instructing the students on historical, technical, and scientific texts. The WYES students love her!

Thank you Schneider Electric for visiting Yadkinville Elementary School and Forbush Middle School in celebration of Earth Week! Our students loved the carbon footprint activity and the vertical plant walls!

Dr. Todd Martin has announced plans to retire effective March 1, 2024. Dr. Martin has worked in public education for over 33 years and has served as the superintendent of Yadkin County Schools since October 1, 2013.

Yadkin County Schools has adopted the “I Love U Guys” Foundation’s Standard Response Protocol (SRP). The goal of this protocol is to provide clear instructions for school personnel, law enforcement, students, and visitors during a crisis. The protocol is based on the following actions: Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter.
